Kira's Cria Born Nov. 14, 2010
Today Kira's Cria was born at around 12:05 pm. He weighed 14.5 lbs. I had to assist with the birth because only his head was out for about 20 minutes. She was getting too tired so when she would have a contraction I would hold his legs and slightly pull. He looks like a little Panda so I have been calling him Panda Boy.
At 1:15 his temperature was 98.2. Kira was not responding well to him and he wasn't nursing. When we tried to put him up to her teats she accidentally kicked him in the eye. His eye was bleeding and we couldn't tell if his eye was injured or not. We called the vet she came out and examined him and said it was a slight cut on the outside of his eye. Since he was not nursing she had to tube feed him with colostrum and told us to bottle feed him every two hours.

Sept 6, 2010 Cici's Cria Born
Today a little baby girl was born to Cici. We were told she wasn't even pregnant, so what a wonderful surprise to go to farm and see this beautiful little Cria. When we got there she was already walking and nursing. She weighed 19lbs. We are calling her Mollie but her pedigree name will be Sweet Molasses in the Woods.
